“Lady of the house Speaking”

When Hyacinth Bucket, everyone’s favourite social climber, hears that the part of Lady Melvern is yet to be cast in a murder mystery play for the local amateur dramatic society, nothing will stop her from taking this role. The director, long-suffering neighbour Emmet, has other ideas.

Much to Hyacinth’s dismay the cast mainly consists of her family – sister Daisy and her husband Onslow and her lusty sister, Rose. Daddy is of course a problem from start to finish, causing continuous mayhem throughout.
