SUMMARY:Wizard Of Oz by Centre Stage Juniors
DESCRIPTION:Performances: Evenings Wed to Sat at 7pm\, Matinee Fri & Sat at 2pm \nL. Frank Baum’s beloved story of a young girl’s adventure in a magical land has been entertaining audiences for over a century. MGM’s blockbuster 1939 film adaptation\, featuring the timeless songs of Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg\, along with the brilliant instrumental music of Herbert Stothart\, elevated the popular novel to even greater heights. This stage adaptation\, featuring the characters and celebrated songs from the film\, brings the wondrous Land of Oz to life in a jubilant theatrical experience. \nJoin Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz\, determined to reach the Emerald City\, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course\, along the way\, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad)\, Munchkins\, talking trees and winged monkeys. But most importantly\, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain\, a Tin Man with no heart\, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness – and self-awareness – is a glowing testament to friendship\, understanding and hope in a world filled with both beauty and ugliness.

SUMMARY:Home I'm Darling
DESCRIPTION:Performances: Friday 7.30pm\, Saturday 2.30pm and 7.30pm \n‘Home I’m Darling’ by Laura Wade is a sharp satire which explores the reality of adopting the values and lifestyle of the 1950s whilst living in the modern age and has been described as a “fizzing drama of gender\, homes and housework”. Judy\, the main character\, loves 1950s music\, dance and costumes and has persuaded her husband\, Johnny\, to fully embrace the era. \nAt the start of the play\, Judy has been a full-time housewife for three years and delights in baking\, cleaning and looking after her husband. However\, as financial pressures mount\, relationships strain\, and modern reality clashes with Judy’s idealised vision of the past\, we see how the couple reassess the choices and sacrifices they have made. Funny yet poignant\, nostalgic yet thought-provoking\,  ‘Home I’m Darling’ won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 2019.

SUMMARY:Company
DESCRIPTION:Performances: Mon to Friday 7.30pm\, Saturday 2.30pm \nStephen Sondheim’s Company \nGroundbreaking\, witty\, and brilliantly funny\, Stephen Sondheim’s Company is a game-changing musical about life\, love\, and the pursuit of happiness in modern New York. \nAt the centre is Robert – a 35-year-old bachelor whose friends are all happily (and sometimes not-so-happily) married. SUMMARY:Nora: A Doll's House
DESCRIPTION:Performances: Mon to Sat @ 7.30pm \nNora: A Dolls House\nAn adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House \nBy Stef Smith \nNora is the perfect wife and mother. She is dutiful\, beautiful and everything is always in its right place. But when a secret from her past comes back to haunt her\, her life rapidly unravels. Over the course of three days\, Nora must fight to protect herself and her family or risk losing everything. \nHenrik Ibsen’s brutal portrayal of womanhood caused outrage when it was first performed in 1879. This bold new version by Stef Smith reframes the drama in three different time periods. The fight for women’s suffrage\, the Swinging Sixties and the modern day intertwine in this urgent\, poetic play that asks how far have we really come in the past hundred years?

SUMMARY:Blackadder The Third
DESCRIPTION:Performances: Mon to Sat @ 7.30pm & Sat afternoon @ 2.30pm \nBlackadder The Third\n \nFollowing their successes with Bouncers\, Blackadder Goes Forth and Neville’s Island\, Tambourine Productions returns to The Blackmore Theatre in 2026 with their latest production\, Blackadder the Third. \nSet in the Regency era\, the play follows the endlessly scheming Edmund Blackadder\, trapped in service to the outrageously foolish Prince Regent. With the help\, and frequent hindrance\, of the eternally dim Baldrick\, Blackadder hatches a series of elaborate plots to better his position\, only for them to unravel through stupidity\, bad luck\, and social absurdity. \nPacked with razor-sharp wit\, verbal sparring\, and classic Blackadder cynicism\, this fast-paced theatrical romp skewers class\, privilege\, and power\, delivering a gloriously silly and satirical evening of comedy.

SUMMARY:The Unfriend
DESCRIPTION:Performances: Mon to Sat @ 7.30pm \nThe Unfriend\nBy Steven Moffat \nPeter and Debbie are enjoying a cruise – a celebration of twenty years of marriage\, and a break from their annoying teenagers. They befriend fellow passenger\, Elsa Jean Krakowski\, an eccentric American with a fondness for Donald Trump. There’s something slightly unsettling in her overeager friendliness… but there’s no point rocking the boat if you’re about to get off it. \nBack home\, in the comfort of suburbia\, Elsa suddenly turns up on Peter and Debbie’s doorstep\, unexpectedly. And when they look up their house guest online\, unearthing some hair-raising evidence\, their good nature is challenged as never before. What kind of danger have they allowed to take up residence in their guest room? And can they bring themselves to say anything about it? Sometimes\, the truth is just too impolite.
