This production of “Rationing to Rock ‘n’ Roll” is presented by Pastime Players, a Reminiscence Theatre Company.
Pastime Players are a group of amateur actors aged 60-80 years plus. They live in and around Exeter and hail from all parts of Britain.

“Rationing to Rock ‘n’ Roll” recounts the memories of some men and women who remember the 1950’s. It is designed to appeal to everyone, but in particular, the play aims to stimulate memories in older audiences.
The show has the following 4 scenes each 15 minutes long with no interval:
- Scene One: The Coronation
- Scene Two: The Flicks
- Scene Three: We’re Off! (outings and holidays)
- Scene Four: Palais de Dance (growing up in the 1950’s)
