No prior experience is required, all are welcome.  This would certainly benefit those of you thinking about starting out as a Theatre Technician, school children and college students who may be attending Theatre courses from the beginning of next term where lighting is part of their course work, or those of you who just simply wish to have a go.

No fees involved.

Just turn up.

We are also looking to run Theatre workshops for Sound Technicians and Stage Management.

For all enquiries, please contact, not forgetting to leave your name and contact details.

It is with regret that, after hosting the Exmouth One Act Play Festival over the last 40 years (as part of The All England Theatre Festival), we have taken the decision to no longer host this in the future.

We thank all of you who have supported our Festival over this time and have taken part in one or more of these Festivals.  This has been greatly appreciated.  We have certainly had fun and there have been many winners of the various cups and trophies over the years.  This will always be remembered as will those who have organised this annual event.  Our thanks and appreciation to them too.

At the end of each Festival, various pieces and photos have been placed in our Festival archives and can be viewed at The Blackmore Theatre at a pre-arranged time.  If you wish to view this, then please contact leaving your name and contact details.  We shall then get back to you.

We are considering arranging a much smaller and Exmouth only based Festival when circumstances permit.  In particular, we shall need a small team of volunteers willing to organise such an event.  Please do keep checking in to this page or our Blackmore Theatre Facebook page from time to time for any information regarding such a Festival.

We shall shortly be announcing our 2020 Productions plus more.  We almost certainly will be looking for Directors to come forward to direct one or more of these Productions.  Please keep checking in on this page or our Blackmore Theatre Facebook page for this announcement and for further information.

Are you interested in stage management and/or being part of our stage technical team at The Blackmore Theatre, or would love to have a go? If so, then this is your opportunity to do so. We are currently searching for anyone interested or wishing to have a go at any of these roles purely on a voluntary basis for any of our future productions. We are looking to running some workshops in these areas soon. You may be attending a course in this area. If so, this would be a great opportunity of putting this into practice. If this interests you, then please contact leaving your name and contact details.
